SERVICES

Chrysalis can help your organization bridge the gap between vision and execution in your goals for systems change, with an emphasis on equity and inclusion. Services include strategic consulting, skill-building programs and customizable tools and resources. The heart of our work revolves around needs assessments, alignment analysis and strategic planning, with the goal of collaborating on impactful outcomes.

CONSULTING OFFERINGS

  • Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (JEDI) consulting services: Chrysalis offers coaching, in-house office hours, and strategic planning services. For coaching, we are certified in various JEDI coaching tools, including the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI), Intercultural Conflict Styles Inventory (ICS), Facilitating Transformation through Values (FTV), etc. Regardless of the scope of our consultation, Chrysalis sees our clients as long-term partners in achieving JEDI for your organization and our shared community.  That’s why we make an action-oriented commitment to helping you grow and evolve. Our consulting and strategic planning services are available as advisory hours, which can be purchased individually or in a package.

  • Organizational Justice, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (JEDI) Audit: Partner with Chrysalis to identify the sources of JEDI challenges and identify actions you can take to achieve immediate and long-term JEDI growth. The assessment portion may include a review of organizational processes, policies and practices through interventions such as a data review, peer reviews and/or a working group process, as well as targeted stakeholder interviews through an equity lens. This can also be expanded to include the organization's Intercultural Development Inventory results (if used) to yield insights into the current skills of the team. The alignment analysis portion catalogs existing gaps and opportunities for change, and serves as a benchmark to track the future success of equity efforts. This is typically a 9-12 month, collaborative project.

  • Empowering Justice, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (JEDI) Workshops: Our interactive, thought-provoking and action oriented workshops can be customized to address your organization’s unique needs and goals. These workshops range from topics such as embedding JEDI into organizational processes, structural power analysis, allyship best practices, and more.

TOOLS AVAILABLE

  • NEW! JEDI Handbook for Organization Leaders: This HR Handbook was created in partnership with The Workshift, LLC, and contains information, worksheets and resources to support leaders (such as Board Members, Senior Managers, Hiring Managers and the HR team) to effectively manage the organization’s transformation into a JEDI workplace. A personalized version can be included with the JEDI audit, or you can directly purchase a license for our off-the-shelf version.

  • Primer on Logistical, Achievable Next Steps (PLANS):  PLANS are a handbook of global JEDI best practices mapped to the types of general challenges often encountered in different organizational talent management systems. A tailored version, with a roadmap of next steps is included with the JEDI audit, or you can directly purchase a license to our most updated PLANS document by contacting us.

  • Allyship Learning Library (ALL): The ALL is the answer to employee requests for materials that empower them in their own exploration of various identity and allyship topics. It is an immediately-transmittable resource list that can easily be translated to your internal Learning Management System or intranet for maximum accessibility.

At Chrysalis, we believe that JEDI centers our humanity and unlocks our potential as people, communities and organizations. By removing barriers to opportunity, we help individuals thrive, collaborate on meaningful solutions to community challenges and maximize impact for organizations.

ABOUT

     About Chrysalis Consulting Collaborative

Chrysalis Consulting Collaborative was born out of the urgency for expertise in justice, equity, diversity and inclusion (JEDI) in 2020. Five years in, we believe our work is more urgent than ever. We believe in the power of our partners to drive systems change that benefits our communities, and our work is to be the transformative catalyst that helps our partners be more effective in their impact.

Beyond individual organizations, Chrysalis Consulting Collaborative aims to see each of our partners become part of a movement to advocate for JEDI-enriched change in their fields, which will result in a more just, fulfilling and joyful world.

  About Our Clients

Organizations that are willing to commit to a long-term journey, that are willing to invest the requisite time and resources, and organizations that have an authentic motivation in taking positive action are the gold standard for the type of work that Chrysalis Consulting Collaborative can enhance and empower.

We are inspired by our clients, who can see and want to enact, these possibilities in pursuit of their mission and purpose. While our “Chrysalis” represents the crucible for your organization’s metamorphosis, the “Collaborative” in our name is a deeply intentional part of this. It is these collaborations that motivate us to keep doing this work, no matter what. Our clients come from a range of industries, but they all have in common the fact that they are nimble enough to efficiently translate recommendations into actions, and that they have internalized the understanding that a JEDI lens will amplify their current mission and impact. As long as your organization is moved to making meaningful change, Chrysalis can empower you with the vision, tools and confidence you need to start building the world we collectively want to live in.

The mnemonic focuses on the radical transformation of a caterpillar to a butterfly. The color highlights the emerging butterfly. The wings comprise of 3 connected C’s on either side and the inner cylinder represents the space of metamorphosis - the chrysalis. Our collaboration is the pupal stage that will help your organization to transform into its beautiful, winged imago - as long as you’re willing to invest the time, hard work and experimentation that transformation entails.
